let me start off by saying, yes Audrey, you left your jacket in my car and i wore it the other night. yes i did. i will give it back to you this weekend. don't get mad at me. sisters borrow things sometimes.  these past few weeks have been a little cray cray, and i cannot seem to get some things done. i have a never ending list of things to accomplish in the next few months, but right now i am super excited for my best friends baby shower that my mama and i are throwing this weekend! i plan on doing a full on recap on the blog next week.
now about my outfit, i wore this the other night out to the futurity in augusta. it was a fun night out with andy and i got to see 4 sweet friends that i rarely get to spend time with. i went for a color mixing, while keeping it a little western. these boots have become my go to, if you haven't noticed, i wear them with almost everything and i love that they can go towards a variety of styles. this is more of a tunic like shirt, but i didn't like the longer hem with my boot-cut jeans, so i did something i rarely do, tucked it in. it makes my extremely short legs look a little longer, and takes away some volume from around my middle. do you tuck shirts in?
last night i did a deep cleaning out of all my closets and found some clothes that are too big for me anymore, but some that rarely got worn. has anyone ever done a "shop my closet" sale before? i can't decide between just donating it or going through the hassle of trying to sell it. i was also thinking about trying plato's closet. got any suggestions?

i am starting to learn that when all else fails, just wear black. i threw this outfit on in a total of 5 minutes before getting ready to head out and see seinfeld the other night. it was the best time and i laughed so hard my mouth was sore the next day. 

this was also the first time i asked andy to take pictures of my outfits, and boy do we have a bunch to work on. i laugh because i feel uncomfortable and he hasn't learned what to tell me yet. i am so thankful for him putting up with me. we are working on it and hopefully we will get better at it, because even with some editing these pictures are no bueno. but you all get the idea. sleepy eyes, leaning backwards, and just grinning are not working out so well for me.

any tips ladies that get your guys to take your picture? we need help!

a roadtrip, a horse show, and a butt whoopin.

i am just going to preface this post by saying it will be all over the place. 

andy and i were out on the road this weekend, getting into all kinds of shenanigans for a work trip mainly for me. we logged 1000+ miles in five days, stayed in four different towns, and three different hotels. below are some pics from our trip.

it was the most perfect day in Tampa, and we spent the afternoon all around Honeymoon Island.

i am seriously living in the wrong place. i could have stayed here forever. looking into moving.

we also got to stop after the beach and sneak an orange picking. it was a first for both of us.

on Sunday, i had a horse show to judge. It was a beautiful day, and i am so thankful for andy for being patient while i worked away.

this is the gorgeous sunset on our way back to Madison. 

in short, i got to spend some amazing time with Andy  see my family, judge some horses, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones. we also met a lady that i hope to be just like in 40 years, someone that was full of life, happiness, and ready to live life to the fullest.  so this Thursday i am thankful for this past weekend, i am thankful for my family, for Andy for horses, for friends. i am motivated to make some changes in my life within the coming year, and to enjoy each and every day.  oh and by the way... we play a little game called "punch bug" the entire trip, and i am sad to say that i was the biggest loser. andy wooped up on me.  andy is even creating another shirt to add to his store. what do yall think of the design?? personally i am loving it! i might be partial! be sure to check out all of his motorsports apparel at speedpowerpassion.com. hope each and every one of you are having a great Thursday!! i am so excited to be heading to athens tonight to see Jerry Seinfeld!  be sure to check out the AWESOME giveaway at For Lauren and Lauren. introducing the Happy Heart Collection
