Random Potatoes

Paula Deen's Easy Potato Crockpot Soup

Ingredients:

1 (30 oz.) bag frozen hash-brown potatoes

2 (14 oz.) cans chicken broth

1 (10.75 oz.) can cream of chicken soup

1/2c chopped onion

1/3 tsp. ground black pepper

1 (8oz) package cream cheese (softened)

Garnish: minced green onion

Combine all ingredients except cream cheese and onion. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. With 30 minutes left, add the cream cheese until well combined.

You can then top with bacon, onions, cheese, etc.

And now onto Random Wednesday...
I wish I could say that I wouldn't hurt a fly, that is untrue.  (that might sound a little loco)  I want to kill every single fly in my office right now. Days like yesterday are great because I love being able to leave our office door open, but the flys are always awful the day after... guess its just one of the many perks of working at a feed mill. Yay me.

Speaking of feed mill... the one thing I am not fond of about my job, is my "dress code". I don't really have one. I could probably wear a t-shirt and jeans everyday and the people that come in here wouldn't blink. I like to dress nice though. I like to dress trendy. My job doesn't really allow for that. People might think I am crazy, but it would be nice to have a job where dressing cute and "up" was accepted.

   Another thing... do people not say "goodbye" on the phone anymore? When did this stop? When did just hanging up become the norm and not just considered rude. I always have the hardest time with it. Just say goodbye. It means the convo is finished and we can both hang up now, not just wonder if we are done talking. 

This post seemed more like a rant than randoms. I guess rants are on my mind right now. Random Rants. That's a new link up I need to start.
