outfits like these are pretty much a staple at my job. i have turned into a button up wearing, boots with skinnys monster. a purple monster on this day. i am pretty much in love with these boots that i got last weekend. i saved a whopping $120 on them! score!! 

i am still figuring out these outfit posts, but i am loving how i can see myself and what works on my body type through the pictures everyday. 

and now for a little H54F! i am saying high fives for:

one// the super short work week. two//another weekend that is not crammed packed with something to do, Lord knows i am busy enough. three//planning a baby shower for my sweet friend, all the details are coming together and i am getting so excited. four// my new tervis tumblers. i use them every day at work, and i am pretty sure they are the best thing i asked for. five// my sweet new camera from my very sweet boyfriend. he will now get tired of me taking pictures, but i couldnt be more thankful for it. and him.

time to get serious.

i am not one who usually makes resolutions. i feel that i try each and every day to push myself to do a little better. yes we should make lists and yes it sounds good in theory but i feel like sometimes resolutions are pushed so much that we only do them for a short time. all of these are things that i want to do each and every day. today is the day that i am writing them out.

after making the above graphic i have decided that i will also be reading the Bible from beginning to end. i had been thinking of doing it but Kristen's instagram picture helped me find a place to start. i am on track and cannot wait to see how the Lord brings me closer to him on this journey this year.

randoms, catchphrase, and a big red shirt

 it has been a busy past few days for me but in a relaxing sort of way. the extra long weekend was good to me and i got to spend some sweet quality country girl time with andy. i am pretty much country girl all the time but it was even better to be able to do fun outside things with my man. we got to do some target practice, feed some cows, and just spend time together. i posted tons of pics to instagram so i won't bore you with them all again. if you arent following me, go do so now @saramontanasays.

i am still learning about my new camera. give me a few weeks and i will be taking better photos and hopefully posing better too. i still feel super awkward.

we also spent NYE with lots of our friends at a lake house and played tons of catchphrase and jenga. boy am i addicted to catchphrase. i got to ring in the new year with lots of fun peeps and can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for me. i am looking to make changes in my etsy shop and here on this blog. ready to expand my name and put more effort into getting it all out there. 

i made sure to eat plenty of blackeyed peas and greens yesterday so i am looking for luck and money in the new year.
